2k20: New Additions and Differences
NBA 2k has been a top gaming series for the past five to seven years now. Over the years,the game has gotten better all around by allowing players a better career mode experience, clean and steady improving MyTeam, and a weekly updating “Play Now” mode. This game has experienced many improvements from the past three years, such as the new addition of the WNBA feature.
2k20 is the newest game of the franchise. This game has made players have mixed feelings on the game. Starting with MyCareer, the grind has gotten easier allowing players to reach level 90 with fewer games with than the past two installments, but to get the max level 99 you have to be really good at the game. For example, once you get level 95, you have to play games at a pro level of Gamer expertise.
The newest thing that 2k20 has different is the loading screens and how frequent they occur. Previous 2k games did not have problems with loading screens and they would fly by and happen much less. However now it happens when you want to make even the smallest altercation to the game you from the mode and you will have to redo what you finished or have started.
With the new 2k out,most players have went back to 2k19 because the problems 2k20 has acquired since its launch. 2k19 is a really good game to come back to because if one is not new, one will not have to create a new character and can just continue with where the gameplay left off.
Since 2k20 is newer, it is more up to date. Which means it has players on their current teams and the cards on Myteam are not updated. This is the main reason why most players are sticking to 2k20 and play the PlayNow mode.
2k18 was the first game to introduce The Neighborhood. The previous 2k games never had neighborhood and only had parks which meant players did not get to roam as much. Neighborhood allowed players to do things that they could not do in the park such as buying clothes, tattoos, and accessories.
2k18 was also the game where Myteam prospered with many of the cards being really well and less realistic when it comes to gameplay and physics. The graphics were not the best but it was a really enjoyable game. 2k19 the best out of the recent three 2k games. It is not the most up to date when it comes to game modes, but it is a game to have if you want to play an easier and the most fun of 2k games.
