Public School vs Home-School

Getting a good education in this country is really important. There is even a law that makes one go to school for a period of time. Getting into a good school can be a jump

start for a good future. That can start by making a decision of going to a public school or being home-schooled.

Public schools and being home-school are different, starting by religion. Religion in a public school has less dominance while at home parents can have their own way of teaching their kids. Home school also has its own pace and students have more time to do their work instead of being rushed by teachers. It is a good way for students to understand a topic better and study it more closely if it was not well understood. But there are also negative things about being home-schooled. Kids and teenagers would be more isolated than kids that go to public schools. They would not have many friends or would have trouble communicating with people their age.

There would be no teachers or mentors in the room if they did not understand the topic and cannot find a way to figure it out. Parents also have to pay for homeschooling which could be a debt of around 1,000 dollars or more not including supplies. Public schools on the other hand are free, and parents would only have to pay for supplies, if they have a hard time doing it the school will provide supplies for the kid. Public schools also have after school programs like sports, clubs, and more. Public schools are known to have bad education and discipline. Where kids do not get a correct education and that are most likely to drop out.

Public schools are better for the most part parents choose this option for many reasons such as saving up money or being more easier to afford. Public schools will also try to make students connect with each other and make them learn the importance of good communication with respect and intelligence. It gives students challenges to face and make them want more and work themselves harder to earn it, for example being the best of the class or getting the highest testing grade and earning a price.

Our decision about schools would have an impact in our future lives, and we should be careful about it.
