Why Cable TV is Coming to an End

The classic television was first manufactured in the 1920s, since then nearly 100 years televisions have evolved and are in nearly every household. There have been thousands of shows, documentaries and even movies created to cater to our entertainment through the use of our televisions.

However because of the rapid advancement of our technology since the beginning of the 21st century, companies have developed a new way to provide the same form of entertainment in a much easier and cheaper way. This method has many pros to convince a family to ditch cable and satellite TV completely.

The biggest advantage of having an internet TV service is the overall cost deduction. Switching over will remove your cable TV bill, which can be very expensive if you have added packages for select channels and if you do not have a bundle with the same company (such as you purchasing an internet and cable/satellite package).

Entertainment companies such as Hulu, Youtube, Sling TV and HBO have created streaming services with varieties of shows to pertain to their viewers needs. These services still have their own individual costs, but they are extremely cheap compared to what you would pay for regular TV and will save you a lot of money over time.

There is a down side to subscribing to some of these streaming services. Youtube has a very nice streaming service but it has only one available package, there is no customization as you cannot add on extra channels for an additional price. The popularity of internet TV has reached nearly 33 million people, and is expected to grow especially with the younger generation.

There are more internet streaming services that are slowly popping up with more exclusive shows, which will only make the market more competitive. Regardless of what service provider people end up choosing, there is no doubt that nearly most people will begin to stream all their shows through the internet.
