New Black Ops 4 challenges the game that has previously swept the nation
Black Ops 4 (BO4) was released on October 18, and it is taking the gaming world to a whole new level. The game was created by Treyarch Studios along with many others, including the previous games of the Black Ops series, 1, 2, and 3. Treyarch Studios is known for developing the Call Of Duty games, as they were a part of the designers of the very first Call Of Duty productions, which was almost 12 years ago. They are still making these games to this day.
If you have not been up to date with society you may not know about the worldwide sensation, Fortnite. It is a third person shooter game where go up against 100 online gamers and fight until the last one standing wins.
This game would normally have 40 million logins and plays every month according to PCGameN.com. However, since Black Ops 4 came out, their gaming numbers dropped to 10 million a month. Most say this is occuring due to Black Ops 4 being the new video game, and that Fortnite will get its audience back once the game's exposure dies down.
However, the only thing wrong with that is the newly sensation and ESPN cover model Ninja, also known as Tyler Blevins, has been influencing the people of his community on Twitch (a streaming platform where you can watch him play live). The new Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 will be the next big thing and he plans on switching from his main game of Fortnite to Call Of Duty, due to it being what he considers is better game quality. So the question that people are left asking is: which is better to play right now?
Looking at the preorder sales, Fortnite made 19 million on while Black Ops 4 made 73 million. This means that more people were aware of Black Ops 4 being released over Fortnite, due to popularity.
Another thing that we can look at are the gamers. While Black Ops 4 is an 18 and older game, Fortnite is for all ages. However that does not mean all ages play. On average, kids of ages five-nineteen play Fortnite while gamers of Black Ops 4 fall into the age category of 15-26. Due to video games being played by mostly kids we will give it to Fortnite.
