ISIS Leader Dead.

On October 27, President Donald Trump made an announcement to the world through media platforms, that the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had been killed. ISIS is a world terrorist group responsible for many dead reporters, bombing raids, assassinations, etc. ISIS has been a major terrorist group since 2013 however it was not until ISIS launched an offensive on Mosul and Tikrit in June 2014, That the isis leader and his operation would be targeted by the United States of America.

“Around the [Sixth] grade when they first showed up on the news,’’ junior Owen Powell said. “ I saw them a video of them decapitating a journalist and to be honest it scared me.”

In President Trump’s speech, he speaks on how the U.S. Commandos underwent the mission late Saturday night with the help of the CIA. Zero U.S. personnel were killed, President Trump reacted to this by saying the following, “accomplished their mission in grand style” even with the threat of a terrorist group in the area the unit went into the territory and came out within two hours competing for a multi-Presidential task.

“I feel so much safer knowing that we can accomplish something like this,” junior Mackenzie Perry said.

President Trump next spoke on the way Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s last moments were, he explained that he was in fear, running away into a cave and eventually taking three of his own children with him and blowing himself and those children with him. A DNA test was done to ensure the dead body was his, it matched 100 percent.

“Yeah that dude [is a bad person] all he did and spoke about was killing people but when it was his time he was scared and tried to run that is what he deserved,” junior Trystan Hennessey said.

Despite your own beliefs in our President and Government system, this is an amazing victory for the entire world let alone the United States, a lot of years, preparation, caution, and so much more went into the success of this mission and may we all be grateful for October 26, 2019.

“With everything that is going on in the world it seems like just news but I am glad for those overseas that is really where it has been happening, nothing in the U.S.A,” Blenda Thorne said.

We thank all those who put their lives on the line for the protection of our country and may we all rest easier knowing one of the biggest terrorist groups out there is crumbling and soon will be a thing of the past.
